Servers are exceptionally friendly, even though it was a busy brunch hour and we were with laptop. Definitely recommended. I don't really know the vibe that this place is going for, it's really just all over the place. There was no official DJ and the music sounded like someone was just playing random songs they know on the speakers. The nachos were definitely store bought, the black beans were COLD goya beans and the chorizo if the light was not so dim I could have sworn it was just spicy ground beef. It was priced for about $1. I just did not want to pay that much for something unsatisfactory. I plan to come back again but just for a quick drink next time, I don't intend on staying too long or eating anything else. What I like most about this place, besides the coffee, is the ambiance, easy to work here, the patio is cool for relaxed outdoors or smoking and the indoors are great for working. There's an outside back area for about 1. Food comes from the downstairs kitchen. The chili biscuits with sweet chipotle butter is soft and flakey with bits of peppery spice. Each bite is delectable, but highly decadent and enjoyable. The place was decently quiet. Enough patrons to fill the bar just enough but not too loud. They even had a DJ set & big screen TV. Father Knows Best is the twenty-second episode in the Season 2 of Pretty Little Liars. It aired on February 27th, 2012.We were throughly disappointed. Although the presentation was good, the pasta was undercooked, there wasn't enough cheese on the dish and overall the dish was POOR. For an Asian female overhearing that, that did not sit well with me at all. The bartender heard it himself and was diplomatic all the way through, he informed of the incident to the owner of the bar. He came back and asked us if we wanted our food wrapped and asked if we wanted the check immediately. We said yes, paid with tip and left right away. It was unacceptable regardless of the situation. And that the result of that patrons words was my verbal confrontation. Although the owner came out, talked to us, and made peace with us. My friend and I will not be giving our business to them. Hope we can find a place that is intelligent, peaceful & tolerant of people that come from different backgrounds. You decide for yourself! Everything about this spot was top- notch! My husband and I were greeted and served by Stephanie, who gave us the best customer service we've experienced in a while! Seriously, her energy was so contagious, made the experience that much more enjoyable. At the end of the day, for me customer service is everything and Stephanie rocked it! Needless to say, the food was on point as well! An awesome chill bar in Bushwick. I go here all the time and there is always something fun going on. I suggest you try the . We had the street beets drink (delicious for those who like the earthy tones), sloppy poppy, and the veggie sandwich with cauliflower. Each sandwich is accompanied by a house salad drizzled with a refreshing dressing. A pleasure just to walk in here - the vibe washes over you and makes you feel instantly at home. I always look forward to days when Stephanie is working, it's kind of half the reason I go in.. Today her daughter Samantha took care of us and I have to say she was better than 9. I've had in Brooklyn : ). The food is excellent here, probably the best for the price I've found in New York. Highly recommend the egg sandwich or the cheddar scallion biscuits. Ooh also the Dank Pancakes (dank indeed). All of the coffee is on point, iced or hot. And if you're stopping by at night the drinks are always good, Papa's Draft if you're feeling cheap or a nice cocktail if it's one of those nights. There's usually something weird and cool going on, honestly it feels like an extension of our living room. So glad FKB moved into the neighborhood, thanks you guys! I really love this place. They have a great beer selection and creative cocktails for your drinking pleasure. The outdoor space is built up with wooden seating areas all around, and the service and staff is very friendly. Come see Casey in the evenings. He's sure to treat you like an old friend and make you a great drink! They have light fare, and will be expanding their menu soon. There is a jazz band on Monday. They have various other fun things throughout the week. Stop by this cool bar on the way home and you'll be glad you did! I was really excited for this place, since it was right in my neighborhood and seemed to have a very cool feel about it. Overall the music and atmosphere is good, but if you want anything other than beer, the speciality cocktails can get a bit pricey. The menu both smells and looks beautiful, but has limited options for vegan/vegetarian in an area where this kind of accommodation is becoming fairly standard. I visit maybe once a month since its opened and usually stay for no more than 2 drinks. Checking out a place in my new neighborhood. This place is super friendly and even has special events. I'm told the place is good at night, too. I had the baked eggs and beans dish with chickpeas and gorgeous stewed tomatoes. Super cool ambient. Cafe in the morning and bar in the afternoon. A simple menu, yet, two dishes we got were very tasty. I especially loved my baby kale and roasted roots. Needs air conditioning tho.. But I'm coming back for brunch. Wanna taste those vegan pancakes. I love this place. The decor is welcoming and provides both an environment for working on the laptops and grabbing drinks and delicious food with friends. Both were delicious and great combination of flavor. My friend ordered the breakfast nachos and lucky she left some for me to taste. Great hangover or hungry for amazing Mexican inspired dish. I had one mixed with gin, beats, carrots and ginger. ANOTHER great hangover cure and also healthy cure. This place is so unique and has great quality food/bevs. My roommate and I came here for coffee this morning, then later came back later for lunch. I got the breakfast sandwich with chorizo, and he got the jalepeno baked mac and cheese. The staff were super sweet, the food and drinks were great and not cheap but fairly reasonably priced, they have free wifi and events all the time, and the vibe there is funky, fun and very artistic!!! Last weekend, I dined at Father Knows Best for the first time. We had quite a large party and FKB accommodated us right away - - without a reservation! The eggs were heavenly. Our waitress, Stephanie, was sublime. She went above and beyond to ensure that our party had the best possible brunch experience. Brava! So I surrendered my control of restaurant selection for our date night and allowed the boyfriend to pick. He picked Father Knows Best. I was happy that it was close to our place but when I looked at the menu (at first glance) I wasn't happy because the menu is limited. Anyway I stayed because I was famished and the bartender was nice. I had the egg sandwich with mushrooms and the mac& cheese. Everything was delicious! I was surprised that my mister actually found a gem without my input. We definitely enjoyed our dinner and plan to return in the day time for breakfast. Definitely check it out.
